Traveller Made, an international network of luxury travel designers, has continued to strike new partnerships despite the wide range of uncertainties that now mar global travel.

The European player has been joined by 73 new members and partners between April and September alone, amounting to 450 agencies in 70 countries; nearly 1,200 partners in all! “25 new members and 48 partners willing to join the Traveller Made network is a notable achievement in view of the current conditions” says Quentin Desurmont, President of Traveller Made.

What differentiates this European network from the competition? A preference for “ultra luxury”. Through innovation and agility Traveller Made creates synergies that will allow for the sharing of experiences at a global level, with over 200 diverse travel agencies within the continent alone.

With more than 200 travel agencies in Europe, the network helps to promote European hotels to the most accessible clientele available in this period of crisis; fellow Europeans.

This is achieved through innovations and network-facilitation, including the virtual version of “The Essence of Luxury Travel show” which hosted nearly 10,500 virtual meetings, attended by 420 members and partners — i.e. more than half of those registered for the physical event initially planned in Marbella from the 22nd to the 25th of March.

Every year, this event allows worldwide luxury travel brands to converge, such as Aman, Oetker Collection, Cheval-Blanc, Kerzner One & Only Resorts, The Peninsula Hotels, Belmond… All opted into this unique solution developed by Traveller Made.

Traveller Made has several years of successful collaboration with Relais & Châteaux, Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Preferred Hotels & Resorts and concluded a similar partnership with Leading Hotels of the World at the beginning of the year.

These partnerships consist of exchanges of best practices, with the aim of bringing more value, which is sorely needed by hoteliers and travel designers.

Traveller Made has followed this approach to introduce a unique service to the tourism market, particularly the luxury segment. In response to the demand from its travel agencies, it’s pioneered a “Restart Map”, an interactive real-time map which exhibits the reopening dates of its hotel partners.

This free-of-charge initiative is just another way that this network has serviced its member travel designers during the pandemic, while also informing travellers of the hotel offer by geographical area and piquing their wanderlust.
