On Friday, September 29th, The OWO, an extraordinary new destination, unveiled itself in the heart of Whitehall. This grand debut introduced new restaurants and bars, marking the inauguration of Raffles Hotels & Resorts’ first UK establishment – Raffles London at The OWO.

The ensemble includes 85 Raffles Residences, The Guerlain Spa, and Pillar Wellbeing. It stands as a multifaceted space for indulging in dining and drinks, celebrations, entertainment, relaxation, and accommodation—truly a place to stay or call ‘home.’ Raffles London boasts 120 spacious guest rooms and suites, curated dining experiences by chef Mauro Colagreco, opulent entertainment spaces, including a grand ballroom, and a comprehensive spa in partnership with Guerlain and Pillar.

The Hotel’s lush gardens and tranquil courtyards provide a serene backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. The attentive and knowledgeable staff members are always on hand to ensure that every guest has a memorable and personalized experience.

Raffles London pays tribute to the building’s rich history and offers a sense of timeless luxury, from the grand staircase adorned with a breathtaking two-story chandelier to the mosaic-tiled floors. The hotel, featuring 120 rooms and suites, embodies the visionary design of the late Thierry Despont, a renowned designer known for transforming iconic structures like the Statue of Liberty.

The Heritage Suites within the building hold immense historical significance, having served as the former offices for influential political and military figures such as Winston Churchill, David Lloyd George, and Sir Richard Haldane.

Available for exclusive reservations under the name ‘The Whitehall Wing,’ these suites, steeped in history, offer a unique experience. The expansive six-bedroom suite, situated in the west wing, can host up to twelve guests, making it one of the most spacious and luxurious hotel wings in London.

Raffles London has teamed up with the acclaimed chef Mauro Colagreco, renowned for his work at Mirazur on the Côte d’Azur, to curate three distinctive dining experiences. The focal point is Mauro Colagreco at Raffles London at The OWO, his signature restaurant, where diners can experience Mauro’s culinary innovation and dedication to sustainability by emphasizing the use of locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

The spotlight is particularly on the rich diversity of native British vegetables, taking center stage in the dishes. Adjacent to this, Mauro’s Table, an intimate space centered around an impressive dining table and complemented by a captivating show kitchen, provides exclusive dining for up to 23 guests. Mauro’s Table features a creative menu highlighting local, hyper-seasonal ingredients that follows the essence of English gardens.

The OWO, Saisons

Mauro’s laid-back dining establishment, Saison, redefines the conventional hotel restaurant with a contemporary twist. Staying true to its name, Saison embodies Chef Mauro’s philosophy and dedication to seasonal cuisine. This elegant venue, situated in the former historic library of the Old War Office, serves Mediterranean dishes throughout the day, spanning breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.

Within Raffles London, you’ll discover two distinctive bars with unique atmospheres. The Guard’s Bar and Lounge boasts a carefully curated menu of 16 drinks, emphasizing British ingredients intertwined with flavors from the East, and introduces the signature ‘London Sling.’ Nestled in a former interrogation room, The Spy Bar is a clandestine subterranean cocktail haven unlike any other. With a touch of secrecy, The Spy Bar pays homage to the realm of spies, evoking cloak-and-dagger moments, covert forms of communication, and martini-hour rendezvous.

The Guerlain Spa at Raffles London stands as one of the capital’s largest luxury hotel spas, covering an expansive 2,500 square meters across four floors. It features a stunning 20-meter swimming pool, nine impeccably designed treatment suites, a comprehensive gym, and L’Atelier Guerlain. Additionally, Pillar Wellbeing, consisting of experts in movement, recovery, and nutrition, empowers members to unlock their full potential with personalized and innovative training and nutrition programs.
