This recent addition to Bacalar’s offerings seamlessly blends luxury with environmental consciousness.

We believe the traditional model for tourism in emerging destinations must change. Regenerative hospitality does not have to be uncomfortable or ugly. Regenerative hospitality is valued by travelers, and therefore, projects like ours can become self-sustaining ventures.

Boca de Agua, constructed primarily with locally sourced materials, stands as a testament to regenerative hospitality. The resort is a harmonious retreat, featuring a family of treehouses delicately immersed in lush foliage, their foundations lifted on pillars to minimize soil impact. Notably, a staggering 90% of the resort’s 82 acres remains intentionally untouched, allowing the natural ecosystem to flourish undisturbed.

Beyond the 22 thoughtfully designed rooms, Boca de Agua invites guests to immerse themselves in a world where luxury coexists with nature. Two restaurants, one boasting a stargazing platform, provide culinary delights against the backdrop of the lagoon. A lagoon deck, a cenote pool, and a spa cocooned by four regal red Chaka trees complete the immersive experience, offering a holistic retreat for mindful travelers.
